21 March AusALPA: Advancing the Safety and Technical Interests of our Members and the Profession March 21, 2020 AusALPA is an umbrella Association that was formed in 1997 after a decision was made for AIPA to join the Australian Federation of Air Pilots (AFAP) to form a single Australian delegation to the International Federation of Air Line Pilots’ Associations (IFALPA). IFALPA is the global pilots’ network that represents in excess of 100,000 pilots and links upwards to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
